Biography

Linda's long awaited solo album features an inspirational jazz style, including a magnificent arrangement of Sam Cooke's "Change Is Gonna Come". Her creativity moves your "spirit" into and through your own "intuitive mind". She has collaborated and/or worked with some of entertainment's best artists including Randy Scott, Belita Woods (Brainstorm), George Clinton & the Funkadelics, Ralph Armstrong, Tom Browne, Darius Twyman, Wendell Harrison, Marcus Belgrave, Whitney Houston, Tamela Mann, Tommy Ford, Ron Otis, Al Turner, Pearl Cleage, Tavis Smiley, Michael Eric Dyson, Dick Gregory, Al Sharpton, Rev Jesse Jackson and so many more. Linda has received numerous requests and awards in music, theater and film, which include Best Actress award and nomination for her legendary portrayal as Jackie Moms Mabley in the one woman show Moms Mabley: The Naked Truth and as Ella Fitzgerald in How High The Moon; requested opening vocalist for President William Jefferson Clinton, the Detroit Mayoral 2006 Inauguration and LINKS National Convention; the Detroit Branch NAACP's 52nd Annual Fight for Freedom Fund Dinner and a host of weddings, home-goings and conventions. She's internationally known as 'the best PW Around' for GFour's production of Menopause The Musical. Her film credits include Butterfly Effect 3, Street Kings 2: Motor City, It Follows, Sparkle, Red Dawn, Jimmy P and many more. In the meantime, Linda reminds us all: For positive change to be realized, one must think universally AND intuitively, all while striving to be the change you seek.
